The Budnitz Bicycles Model No.1 Titanium pictured above is made out of just 93 quality parts (we’re not counting spokes). This simple design is one of the reasons that our bicycles require so little maintanance, and have such an incredibly smooth ride.
Simple means sleek, comfortable, and fast. Handmade titanium and cro-moly cantilever frames are engineered to absorb road shock and are extremely lightweight. We use race-quality components that are designed to last a lifetime.
And simple is beautiful: there are no big logos and decals on our bicycles. Color options are carefully chosen to match brushed titanium components, leather saddles, and lightweight wood fenders.
Our company is founded on the principal that investing in a few well made things that last a very long time makes us happier than a lot of inexpensive junk in the back of the garage. This way we have the privilege of falling in love with the things we own, and enjoy them every time we use them.
